Jordon Tarantino is a Phoenix-based CAD drafter specializing in creating shop drawings for the residential and commercial construction glazing industry. He has over ten years of general construction experience working for subcontractors, general contractors, and even the construction technology space. The past four years have been dedicated to developing his CAD skills.

In 2017 he started his career in the SaaS industry, working for a cloud-based construction project management company. In 2018 he changed careers to become a journeyman glazier for a subcontractor to bring his tech knowledge to the field. After a year of hands-on commercial and residential installation experience, he transitioned into a Project Manager. This is where his passion for bridging the communication and technology gap between office, field installers, owners, and general contractors began to flourish. The need to move from pen and paper to highly detailed shop drawings to communicate more efficiently between all parties involved in the construction process quickly became an apparent necessity for the success of a project. The success of these CAD-built shop drawings expedited the approval process and kickstarted the inclusion of self-created CAD drawings for multiple glazing products and applications in every job.

With current lead times for construction material, Jordon’s mission is to provide shop drawings with a quick turnaround to help expedite the approval process for architects, contractors, and owners. His drawings will assist in the visual communication between all construction parties and accelerate the approval process getting material in the hands of builders quicker while maintaining close attention to detail, product accuracy, and strong client satisfaction.
